The Office of Government and Community Affairs acts as Emory University's official government liaison and monitors proposed and enacted legislative and regulatory policies.

• We advocate on a wide range of topics impacting Emory, including academic, health care, and research issues.
• We work closely with members of the U.S. Congress, the Georgia Legislature, local governments, and community organizations to advance Emory's mission.
• We promote Emory's contributions and collaborate with local, state, and national civic organizations and professional associations to advance policy positions, as well as strategic initiatives, important to Emory.
