Kendra Price is the Director of Community Programs in Emory University’s Office of Government and Community Affairs. In this role, she serves as the primary liaison between Emory University, Emory Healthcare, and the DeKalb County government, fostering relationships that strengthen Emory’s connection to the surrounding community. As a strategic connector, Kendra works to bridge Emory’s vast resources with local stakeholders, ensuring meaningful engagement that supports both institutional and community priorities.


Kendra leads efforts to advance local and regional initiatives that promote economic mobility and development, including facilitating job fairs and enhancing community health and wellness initiatives, including violence prevention programs. She also oversees initiatives that foster arts, science, and cultural enrichment, as well as manages Emory's role as a polling place for DeKalb County voters. Through these efforts, she ensures that Emory remains an engaged and responsible community partner, committed to creating sustainable and positive change.

Active in her community, Kendra is involved in various boards and advisory councils, including the DeKalb Chamber of Commerce. She previously served a four-year tenure as the president of the Greater Lithonia Chamber of Commerce and contributed as a board member for the Georgia Education Advancement Council.

With a background in public affairs, government relations, and community development, Kendra is passionate about fostering trust, collaboration, and long-term partnerships.
