As assistant vice president of federal affairs, Jessica Davis focuses on representing Emory University before Congress and the administration. She has more than 10 years of experience working with federal policy issues, including six years of service on Capitol Hill for members of the Georgia and Tennessee delegations. Prior to joining Emory, she worked for a health care trade association and as a contract lobbyist representing an academic health center, health care coalitions, and issues dealing with national security.

Davis is responsible for promoting Emory's contributions to the state of Georgia and the nation as a whole. As part of this responsibility, she serves on the Government Affairs Representatives' Steering Committee of the American Association of Medical Colleges and as a member of the Association of American Universities' Council of Federal Relations.

Davis has an MA in political management from George Washington University and a BA in political science and communications from Mercer University.
