| Legislative Tour of the Capacity Command Center
On Wednesday, Sept. 2, the OGCA team welcomed Reps. Dr. Imani Barnes, Viola Davis, and Scott Holcomb for a tour of Emory Healthcare's Capacity Command Center at Emory's Northlake location. Legislators had the opportunity to see firsthand how the health system uses real-time data, technology, and centralized care coordination to manage patient flow, optimize capacity, and support operations across Emory Healthcare's hospitals.
In addition to learning about the Command Center's role in improving access to care and patient outcomes, attendees heard more about Emory Healthcare's plans to expand its presence at Northlake. The visit provided an opportunity to discuss how these investments will strengthen healthcare delivery, support future growth, and expand access to high-quality care for patients and communities across Georgia. |
