Kallarin Mackey

As assistant vice president of state affairs, Kallarin Mackey leads advocacy efforts on behalf of the university and health care system before state legislative, executive, and regulatory officials. Before joining Emory, she spent nearly 10 years working with the state legislature as a legislative staff member, state employee, and in the nonprofit sector.

Mackey currently serves as the Policy Committee chair of Georgia Bio, Georgia's life sciences trade association of which Emory is a member. She also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Georgia Chamber of Commerce.

She holds an MBA from Emory's Goizueta Business School and a BA in Public Relations from Brenau University.
